State of the Union – January 2010

Overall analysis: There are very few reversals in this speech that can be documented. This usually indicates the speech is highly prepared and has little, if any, spontaneity. Barack Obama is primarily incongruent and shows disrespect for the process. His policies, according to the reversals, are going to do more harm than good. However, this analysis is gleaned from only a few reversals and more reversals are needed to get an overall accurate analysis. We will find these over the next few weeks in other Obama speeches

(With thanks to Shawn H Smith for his help is this analysis)
