"I want you to know that one of the reasons that I worked so hard with Democrats and Republicans to [keep the government open] was so that I could show up here today." Soon the bottom right dead beats – Could this be a reference to a political faction?

"…for the country we [want and the future that] we share…" Weathers we finance now – an obscure reversal seemingly out of context. However the entire speech is about finance, and this reversal is about finance. Is there a secret program for manipulating the weather that is included in Obama’s proposed new budget?

"Democrats and Republicans must come together and restore the fiscal responsibility that [served us so well] in the 1990s." I was subversed – This is a strong word. It means to be overthrown. Clearly, at the very least, he felt subverted in his attempts at change, maybe even deliberately sabotaged.

"Businesses will less likely to invest and open shop [in a country that] seems unwilling or unable to balance its books." Did you fuck it – Not sure who you is in this case. Is it Obama? Or those who wont balance the books? You decide.

"Above all it will require to choose a vision of America that we want to see 5 years, 10 years, 20 years [down the road]." All the mud – Simple metaphor. The road is muddy – it will be hard going.

"These are kinds of cuts that tell us [we can’t a]fford the America that I believe in and I think you believe in." I thank you – A strange reversal given the forward context.

"This vision is less about reducing the deficit than it is about changing the basic social compact in America. Ronald Reagan’s own budget director [said there’s nothing serious] or courageous about this plan." Serious. Your funds are lesser – Congruent with his speech.

"The first step in our approach is to keep annual domestic spending low by building on the savings that both parties agreed to last week. That step alone [will save us about 750] billion dollars over 12 years." Nonetheless, I was a vessel – He sees himself as a vessel of change.

"Its an approach that puts every kind of spending on the table. But one that protects the middle class, [our promise to seniors] and our investments in the future." So yes, its an offer – Congruent reversal – this is his offer

"Its an approach that achieves about 2 trillion dollars in [spending cuts] across the budget. It will lower our interest payments on the debt by 1 trillion dollars." Suck your lips – Meaning unknown

"Our nation has had to [borrow money to pay for some of our priorit]ies." Oh our problem was so favored in a mob – Everyone (the mob) went along with it.
